Saw a news report about that.

That dude is:

- An ex-cop
- A member of the brazilian parliament for the area Amazonas (3 times re-elected)

He was cocky enough to keep bullets at his house that those people he ordered killed were shot with. He dealt with drugs on the side.

I guess he will have a tough time in jail.
