Orphanage won't just make you jump, it will chill you right to the core.

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.

The Descent scared me, and The Devil's Backbone wasn't scary per se, just a bit suspenseful. Still a great movie though.

The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
The Strangers has some good moments.

The Exorcist didn't scare you. Where Linda Blair does that thing, penetrating herself vaginally with the crucifix, in a locked room with Ellen Burstyn having to watch. Then she twists her head completely around...

Anyway,

1. The uncut Rosemary's Baby where they show Satan's Son.
2. The Hellraiser series of films.
3. The Final Destination series of films.

Splice has some jump moments. Jump as in you'll want to jump off a building cuz it's so shit.

Does my bum look big on this forum?
Hostel, Saw, Centipede are some of the most disturbing movies I have seen.

The Ring has become cheesy now but when it first came out and decently had some ow shit moments.

Martyrs is the quintessential horror movie. Gore, atmosphere and some of the most memorable, disturbing moments in movie history. It really makes you queesy. I suppose it has it's jump moments.

Paranormal Activity 1&2 both have lots of jump moments. Very dynamic. Silence followed by bangs and the like.

You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave FreeOnes.
hmm this is a good question. The movies that scared me the most and continue to this very day is "Jaws" and "Irreversible"

other good recomendations
Audition
The last exorcism( for a PG-13 flick it has it's scare moments)
The Fly(1986)
Ju-On(the original japaneese version of The Grudge)
Wolf Creek
The Shining( its not a jump out and scare you but it still is unsettling)

i found the new film Insidious quite scary in an unsettling kind of way. I would recommend it even though it got a bad write up as i thought it was actually pretty good imo

Looking to go where no FreeOnes member has gone before!
El Orfanato (The Orphanage)

It's a pretty good Spanish horror movie.
