People are still listening to this walking deception??
Why more people aren't laughing this fool out of the spotlight is a mystery to me.
Whenever he's not lying outright he's misleading.
Example when he's "defending" water boarding, "these enhance interrogation techniques worked..." notice he didn't say water boarding as there are many different "enhanced interrogation techniques" the one at issue is water boarding. No where does he contend water boarding worked.
"Speaker Pelosi was made aware of enhance interrogation techniques." Again, there are many different techniques...he never says she was told specifically of water boarding. A fact he couldn't know independently anyway.
He was eligible to run for POTUS at the end of Bush's term...why didn't he??
Cheney with Bush had their chance to fuck up now he should sit down and STFU.:wave2:
My hypothesis is that Obama's inexperience and frankly not being able to articulate and dominate the national defense theme and crazy talk and Dick standing up to him is kinda making him look good.
But still we should all come down to our own conclusions and not wait for whoever is on top tell us how it is. Saddam was nothing but a dog gone mad and was put down by his bosses the U.S. goverment.
My take is a little different...Obama doesn't see any currency in directing his attention to a debate with Cheney. I imagine he feels Cheney had his chance to debate with him and his election represents a rejection of Cheney's approach.
By only 52% of the voters, not a big majority to claim that the whole country is in the bag with Obama and each day that passes and Obama comes out and runs his mouth, I don't think that 52% will still be there if elections were held today. If that's the case he should have not even tried to explain his National defense speech, just went with what he had during the election which was????? He did not ignore it, the media covered for him and just went to the GM story, but he did get taught a lesson by the most unlikely of unpopular vice president.
Obama put his policies on the line, ran on them and the American people elected him...I imagine he doesn't feel the need to defend them against of all people someone who helped get us in the shitter and because the American people made their choice.
Which he did not really put a lot on national defense...mostly was that he "had an economic plan" and that was in the minds of most american voters back then and he dominated that. Thanks to the economic collapse and big time media help Obama beat John, because he was trailing in the polls.
As far as Cheney goes...simply put..it's the difference between how GOPers are able to dominate public opinion with a consistent, steady, coordinated theme by not only their politicians but their media versus the Demos inability to lay out consistent, steady, coordinated themes that actually target the relevant issues.
Are you kidding me what part of "change" and "hope" did you not see being played out by the media and the dems. Two simple words yet you had a majority in this country and even in other country steadily chanting those two words.
Dick feels safe enough now to just come out and say shit like that because he knows Obama is catching the heat for anything that goes bad. Like I said before these "rulers" sometimes have some good points but most of the time their job is to sell you a story. Relevant theme for Obama cureently are too many to know what's happening, but the general idea behind his policies is fix everything with money and control. Bush and Dick did the same shit in a different way.
"Don.." I can see where this is going. Let's just agree to disagree.
On what that Dick is a dick and will be always a dick? I mean I would be very distrustful of someone names "Dick" :hatsoff:
ok, so now can i finish my chicken nuggets?
...but the general idea behind his policies is fix everything with money and control. Bush and Dick did the same shit in a different way.
If by the italic part you actually meant this RE: Bush/Cheney --> tear down regulations, divert gov't contracts to friends, and pass immoral tax cuts during war time for wealthy voters---then you would be correct:thumbsup:
