Bono, the child of legendary entertainers Sonny and Cher, began the process earlier this year, shortly after her 40th birthday.

I'm she didnt just wake up one day and say "I wanna be a guy". She's probably been living with this her entire life. And for this to take place she would have had to see a number of psychologists to check whether she is in the right state of mind to get such a procedure. So I dont think it's selfish if she's doing it for the right reasons to put her mind at rest and have the body she's always believed she should have had.
