Child pornography laws and sex exploitation

Does anyone consider the laws on exploitation of the young in erotica inadequate? Why is nudity considered pornographic; surely a sexual nature to a photograph has to be proved?

Aren't there two entirely separate things being bundled together: nudity, which involves no inherent trauma for the participant AND sex, stimulation of the breasts, phallus, and vagina, which may.

How are these two in any way connected? Is it okay for minors to stimulate sex for film whilst being clothed YET NOT AT THE SAME TIME be allowed to post pictures of themselves topless when they're seventeen? Anyone who's gone on any amateur forum has probably seen hundreds of 16 year olds nude, posting as 18 without being any the wiser. By this definition millions have viewed "child pornography".

Porn laws should be for one thing only, sex: stimulated or unstimulated, clothed or unclothed. Any recordings of this should not be distributed in public involving those under 17, ever. Pornography means depictions of prostitutes, not depictions of nudes.

The laws on porn are woefully lax. Sexual maturity and emotional maturity are entirely separate things. They are plenty of sexually immature 19 year olds who post nude pics and will regret it and plenty of mature 17 years who won't. On the other hand, there are plenty of emotionally immature people who will do porn.

Anyone under 21 should have to go through psychological profiling to determine they are emotionally and economically stable enough to be doing porn as a job, not a way out of poverty or for other reasons. People like MaxHardcore deserve to be in prison, not exploiting girls for money.

Apart from this, the war on porn should end. A lot of it may be cheap and obvious, but that cannot be a reason for any sort of crusade.

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Child pornography or the laws in place to protect anyone under the legal age are not up for debate on freeones.
