Chrysler workers busted smoking, drinking on lunch break in Trenton

For the second time in less than ten months, a Detroit-area television station has caught a group of Chrysler workers smoking and drinking on their lunch break.

This time around, Fox 2's Rob Wolchek reports Trenton Engine Plant workers enjoyed their liquid lunch at a small park directly across the street from their local United Auto Workers headquarters. The vice president of Local 372 said he was unaware of the activity.

Tipped off by two separate plant employees who were concerned by the behavior, the television station filmed multiple workers on multiple days lighting pipes and downing tall boys at the park before heading back to work.

there was a vid? Didn't notice. Anyway, they are on lunch. So I see no problems. Go to lunch, catch a quick buzz and back to work. So long as they go back to work and are productive, then no problem. If they go back to work and slack off the rest of the day then there's a problem.

I've known people who get stoned on their lunch break and actually work better after lunch! I understand firing these guys though too. It's against company policy. Fine, fire em. But I HATE snitches. Mind your own fucking business! FYI the guy talking in the video irks the shit outta me. I can't stand people who talk like him. Chris hansen is another one.

The only vehicles worth a damn from Chrysler are the Jeeps and the Cummins Diesel powered trucks. In fact, Mercedes tried to just buy Jeep when they first negotiated a deal with Chrysler.
