Clint- Gran Torino

Anybody seen it yet?
I did and I thought it was pretty good.
It made some good points about how things are in todays world.
Clint still makes good movies, realistic , interesting movies with an actual story and not just hollywood hoopla designed only to take your money and run.
I recommend it, no trailers, no previews, just check it out.

I'm keen to see it. Only Clint Eastwood could make a movie in which he shoots a bunch of ethnic minorities and be critically acclaimed for it, at least that's what I get from the previews.

It kinda makes me sad, it seems Eastwood and Willis are the only true
tough guy hero's left.

I'll probably see it, I havent been to impessed with Clints recent movies, yes they're critically acclaimed and win a bunch of oscars but I havent really liked them. But I'll still probably see this......:dunno:

Yeah a friend recently told me about a movie with angelina-jolie called changeling.
I not a big fan of hers but when I found out Clint was the director I checked it out, it was actually a really good movie,one of the best I've seen in a while.

I liked it. You get classic Clint, a thought provoking storyline/exploration of attitudes and as usual for Clints movies in the last decade it gets fucking intense at times. A movie that you actually remember 3 minutes after you saw it.

I bought the DVD a few weeks ago and it was the best choice I made since a long time
Every Clint-movie I saw in my life were truly outstanding. Gran Torino can even top this, just because Clint is in it. That guy is soo cool even in his old days.
I can't remember a movie so thrilling and faithful

Great movie, has a very good story and is pretty funny aswell.

It was rubbish. A cliche ridden plot that offered nothing new. The tone was all over the place - was it a comedy? A drama? An action movie? Awful acting from everyone apart from Clint. If this really is his final movie as an actor its hardly befitting of the man.
