Comic-Con '09

Conspiracy...
San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego has been over run with movie studios, television executives, and everything else, but comic books.

They need to start their own convention or they need to be forced to down size. A comic book convention is about comic books. That shouldn't be too difficult to understand.

G4's Comic-Con coverage is disappointing.

From a post on IMDB:
In 2007 (when I stumbled across their coverage while channel surfing), they did four shows, two hours in length, and repeated them all weekend long.

In 2008, they did two shows (Thursday and Friday), and repeated them throughout the weekend though not as much as 2007.

This year, one three hour special, and it gets repeated one time.

I don't like the dwindling coverage and Blair Butler should have been the main host.

Also, Fresh Ink should be an hour long show. ;)

what the fuck you lookin at?
E3 is the only thing I really care about. I don't give 2 shits about what movies are coming out next year.

Apparently, either this year or next year's Comic Con is going to be the last year in San Diego.I heard that they are changing venues to either LA or Las Vegas because San Diego has gotten to be to small. So guess what? It's about to get even worse.

I would really like to go one year, but from what I understand,it's just way too many people, and I've had my fill of standing around for hours on end,in big crowds waiting to see someone for a few seconds or to get a book signed.

Yeah,I don't know why it's even called a "comic con" anymore either.I guess that will probably be changing soon though.

I went to comic con in San Diego. Was nice, but the crowds were a bit pushy at times. Took all day to cover the whole show. Most of it was because the aisles were too congested.
