There already is an unconstitutional government infiltration of the churches.
It's called 501c3 status.

Which is as unconstitutional as it gets.

The government isn't supposed to make any laws where religion is concerned.
That means making them have to obtain any certificate to be tax exempt, a church is by law already tax exempt without any certificate or documentation.

That is an extremely poor interpretation of separation of Church and State. "....no laws respecting religion.." means no laws for or against a religion or religion.

If you are a church seeking tax exempt status, how do you propose you establish reasonably to the State that you are a church and eligible for tax exemption?
