Connect laptop to tv?

My laptop has a VGA Port but TV has a DVI port. do they make a cable for this to work?

since DVI uses both digital and analog signals, all you need is a simple converter

Yeh! I connect my laptop to my lcd tv via hdmi cable.

yes there is an adapter they make to connect the two. but ull need one of each cables. kinda pricey but worth it.

You'll probably need an adapter, but it'll work.

My laptop connects to my tv via HDMI cable. Great for porn, even though the quality is lower when viewed on my tv, not sure why.

No you wont be able to just plug a VGA to a DVI via some sort of coverter as mentioned above its an analogue signal whereas DVI is digital. Check if your TV has any kind of VGA input (mine has so I can plug a laptop via a VGA cable).

You dont need an adapter. They sell cables with VGA to DVI.
