I'm no Cowboy fan but I would say no, they don't regret it. TO is a cancer on any team and now that he is showing his age it overshadows whatever talent he has left in the tank. How the hell else do you think he ended up in fucking Buffalo?
Jerry's playpen won't make up for the deficiencies of his team. They might be the worst team in their own division if Washington can ever figure out that the west-coast offense won't work with Jason Campbell at QB.

Just watched highlights of the Giants Cowboys game again. That stadium is something else. I love the massive Jumbotron. As a European I gotta admit there's not much we have to compete. Maybe the Nou Camp Stadium of Barcelona, or my local stadium, Wembley.

additionally, the NFL teams have more home games, right? the college season is shorter, i think.
there seem to be a lot of fans who like college better than nfl - i don't really get any of this. american football is fairly new to me, and i still think notre dame might be good again one day.

I'm not a Cowboy fan, but I was pretty impressed with the stadium from what I saw on TV. That video board above the field must be amazing to see in person.

The only thing I noticed was that it didnt say the game time, what line the ball is on or how far to go!! It was just like a huge screen!

The only problem is that its too big. 80,000 seats? Once the novelity of the new stadium wears off and they dont sell out...here comes the tv blackout and the people of Dallas will go nuts. Trust me, Im from Detroit and when we get blacked out...and we really suck...people go nuts.

Considering the fact that the past 161 Cowboys games have all been sellouts, that probably won't be a big concern....as long as Jerry can continue to put a competitive team on the field that is.

When the NFL announces "attendance" they use "paid attendance."
That means a ticket that has been paid for but not necessarily a butt in that seat.
IOW, a company could own 25 season tickets they use for clients and only 2 people are using seats out of that 25 and they still count the whole 25.

I've become more of a college football fan over the last 3 years or so. What I like about college better than pro is that the players are playing for the love of the game. If they win, it's because they have school pride, not because they'll get millions of dollars in endorsements out of it. Their motivation is winning, not having leverage in upcoming contract negotiations.
