I honestly never would have thought that particular drug.

Cocaine would have seemed to be more fitting for THEE REBEL huh ? ;)
Andre, although very discilpined, sorta had a wild or way about him so I'm not really surprised about this news. Now, if it was Pete Sampras . . . :1orglaugh

hard to believe he maintained a stellar career while using.

does this mean if I use meth, I'll have a career like agassi?

Looking to go where no FreeOnes member has gone before!
very surprising...like ya'll have already said, not the drug I would've thought he'd have been using

FreeOnes is pumping through my veins!
Agreed guys. Pretty surprising he chose crystal meth. I would of guessed pot.

Weed, cocaine, or black tar heroin. But not Meth! I mean, c'mon, he could have been this close to having Dog the Bounty Hunter kicking his door in, tackling him to the ground with some serious mace, cussing at him nonstop, and then say a prayer with him while driving him to jail before they let him out on bond!

Damn. That close! Don't do meth, kids!

Does Martina Hingis have a lawsuit on her hands? The WTA swept Agassi's drugs 'under the carpet' yet wanted to make a martyr out of her a couple of years ago

Why is it--in the U.S.--that the only time Tennis gets any headlines anymore is when a player comes up in a drug bust?

I know. It is few far and between, thing is, the sport is great! It is heavily watched, yet, somehow it is not taken like baseball or football or basketball is.

I see commercials around Grand Slam times for American being the French, US, and Wimbledon, but those commercials only show up on stations that are carrying the programming. Or the occasional sister-station.

I've read that this drug is similar to pervitin, very popular drug in my country, it's real shit, I would never think that someone like Agassi would use something like this, but I don't care, all sportsmen can use every drug they want if it does not affect them while playing...

No he did not he was HORRIBLE when he was using.
he play 24 matches in 1997, won zero top-level titles and was ranked 141 in the world.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
He knew his personal assistant was a crystal meth user and kept him as his assistant? he knew the guy would lace his sodas with crystal meth? He went from clean to doing crystal meth because he was sad?

somehow a lot of this "truth" does not add up.

Agassi is lucky he didn't end up like Len Bias

he was ranked 141 in the world and played in 24 matches and won zero top-level titles, while he was using in 1997. he did not use his entire carrer.

Sicario

Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.
Is that why he lost his hair? or was it because he was losing his hair he decided to crank on meth?

:dunno:
