Dayton police "mistook" a mentally handicapped teenager's speech impediment for "disrespect," so they Tasered, pepper-sprayed and beat him and called for backup from "upward of 20 police officers" after the boy rode his bicycle home to ask his mother for help, the boy's mom says.

And people wonder why cops are being hated even more these days? George Carlin was right when he said there should be 2 new requirements for being on the police: intelligence and decency. You never can tell, it might just work. It certainly hasn't been tried yet.

They do not want to hire people that are intelligent and will think before they do something and might actually question things. It's been happening for a long time.

Just so I understand, in the US being "disrespectful" to a police officer is the only reason they need to taser you, beat you up and arrest you? And to make matters worse they've actually lowered the standard for recruits so even more idiots on a power trip can join the force. I really hope for America's sake they (and every police officer who abuses his/her power) are punished as hard as possible.
