It also has to with the fact that rep didn't used to be astronomical. I remember when making it to 100K was a big deal. Now, you get that in 20 posts. He's been repped thousands of times more than you, but he doesn't post here as often as he used to. He was getting repped when people were giving out tens and hundreds of points at a time. Now you're getting thousands if not tens of thousands per rep. As a result, his numbers are lower and yours look more impressive.
Keep that in mind. And rep doesn't mean shit in regards to how well-liked you are. It's just a number. :2 cents:
