Ok i finally slipped one by the goalie....i got my wife pregnant it was planned...i want to find out the sex of the baby my wife doesnt

what do you guys/gals say

is it good to find out the sex
is it an amazing surprise

I think that, for the 1st one, surprise is better. From the 2nd one, I think it's better to know.

Find out. I guarantee you that you'll both feel better. It will take just a smidgen of the worry caused by all the unknown things upcoming.

Plus, it will help you with your purchases and planning. Remove that little bit of stress, find out what it will be.

If I were preggo, I'd want to know. I'm not the type of person who's really into surprises, but I think that being able to properly plan, choose baby names, decorate nursery and buy clothing, would be MUCH easier knowing if you were having a boy or girl. Plus, you avoid getting your hopes set on one or the other, only to be disappointed in the end lol.

Find out dude, It is so bad to have to buy both girl & boy clothes, & toys and crib stuff. I did it the first time round, not going to ever happen again Also when you see the ultrasound make sure!

It's better just to know ahead of time just to be prepared and like some others said for decorating, clothes, toys, etc. Plus you get to register for all the gender specific stuff at Babys R Us for the baby shower. Oh and congratulations on conceiving a child!

My SIL didn't want to know and it was a pain in the ass trying to buy baby stuff for her. You'd have to find non-gender clothing and whatnot...

Me personally, I think when the time comes I want to know so I can plan and make it easier on everyone around me.

I wanted to know. We found out she was having a boy & it made things much easier. Setting up his room, telling family & friends, registering for gifts are all easier knowing the sex. Plus, it is still a surprise when you find out, whether it's after 9 months or 5.
