If your girlfriend is open and INTERESTED in a threesome, I don't see a problem. However if she would be hurt (I assume she would) by you sleeping with them beforehand I would say it would be a huge mistake on your part, unless you don't love her, or don't mind her leaving you.

I've never participated in a threesome, but have nothing against those who enjoy them. Threesome or not, it's still about being honest with your partner, and respecting what they want or don't want.
