I'm weird. I really have no problem seeing birds as dinosaurs. I had turkey lasagna for Christmas dinner and, honestly, I like the idea of dinosaurs, sauce and noodles.

If we ever do gain the ability to "clone" dinosaurs, I predict disappointment. Giant birds with teeth sound cool, I guess, but I think I'd much rather fly than scare away smaller dinos from carrion. The T-Rex was a giant crippled crow. Nothing more. Nevermore.

According to some scientists the dino's were already undergoing "pulses" of extinction and an age of volcanism i.e the Deccan Traps in India. The meteorite was just the coup-de-grace. ..... but more importantly where can I get one of those bird/teradactyl hedge-trimmers. My gardens a bit overgrown and one of those would be handy
