Well I've talked to a few pornstars on here about it, and it's a lot of work for men. I'm not ready yet.

Kinda a weird thread but I have been noticing a lot of posts on the forums that don't show much respect for the porn industry or the girls involved in the industry.

ok..let me catch you up..i cant imagine my chikl coming home from school saying..daddy daddy..guess what i seen mom doing to 3 guys on the net today..that picture in my mind is enough to make any decision i may have..porn seems to be easy enough for some..im sure the money has got to be great...but it comes with baggage such as your talking about..you know this before you step into it...hell who dont like looking at naked women unless your gay..but it comes with a price..if a pornstar is waiting on the respect a movie star has..they going to be waiting a long time..i have pulled a lot of panties off in my time..90% of them could have done porn..but that word RESPECT!..stood between them and big money

My respect for a person has nothing to do with the job they do. I know there are all these issues coming up by the industry etc etc. However I believe these are separate to the respect issue for pornstars. You should repsect a person for the person they are and how they act. If they are backstabbing loser with no morality then hand them no repsect. But if they are the converse to this, than give them all the respect in the world. I do not judge these people as I do not know them. They have my respect as I cannot fault them as they have do nothing against me. I might not like some of the sexual acts they do, but personally it does not factor into my respect equation.

yeahh thats a good point bro. For the pornstars that im into, I have made respect for. But ya their are alot of pornstars out there that are not worthy of respect

I have a ton of respect for them. A lot of them go against their family's wishes, their friends' wishes, and of course society's wishes. I really don't give a damn what people think and I get the impression that a lot of pornstars don't either. If I'm entertained by these people I have a lot of nerve to not respect them.

Also since that "job" consists of doing no actual work, and is in general grossly overpaid for most of the people involved, if you could make such a statement a pornographer/actor would be pretty low on the list of respectable postions, several spots below the guys that sell oranges by the side of the freeway.

I have actual respect for the guy with the mop. At least he solves a problem and actually contributes to society.

I'm answering this question frankly and honestly...so keep that in mind before assembling a lynch party or anything!

I don't disrespect or have contempt for the talent in the industry. However, many of the producers are far from worthy of any respect. A lot of it is exploitative...and a lot of producers like to fuck over the talent (not paying what they promised is a prime example). Only a handful of stars make serious money in the industry...while the producers continue to profit from it long after the talent has left the industry. Also, a good number of girls in the industry have issues with self respect too. So, it is kinda hard to respect someone who doesn't respect themselves. Respect is something that is earned....not given freely! I mean, it it is kinda hard to respect someone who would let 20-100 guys cum all over their face, gag them with their dick until they puke, stick multiple dicks in their pussy or ass, slap them and call them all kinds of vile names during sex, etc., etc. Basically willing to do ANYTHING for a quick buck! I mean come on....respect!?!?!? Are we really having this discussion?

I know not all of the talent in porn is this way...but we have to admit that quite a few in porn have issues to begin with. Just like the military doesn't really attract people that really have anything going for them (aside from commissioned officers), porn doesn't attract people who have a whole lot going for them either. I mean...you didn't REALLY think that people get into porn because things are great in their lives did you? Admit it, you know I'm right! So...respect...no, not really!

There are some exceptional people in the industry though. Mariah Milano for example won't just fuck anybody, won't fuck fans, and won't "escort"! That is worthy of respect! Another example would be Nikki Nova who, despite the fact that she could have made much more money (and still could), chose to stay exclusively softcore because she didn't feel comfortable with, and didn't want to do hardcore! That is TOTALLY worthy of respect!

I however feel that these are the exceptions! Too often, people in the industry are willing to sell themselves out and do things that they REALLY don't want to do...simply to make a fast buck! That is hardly worthy of respect...now is it!?!?!? Of course, to maintain their image...and continue to make money in the industry...they can't let on that they REALLY don't enjoy what they are doing! Sadly, too often they do reveal that fact...when they ultimately commit suicide...which sadly has happened to talent in the industry more times than I can count!

So contempt and disrespect...NO! But, respect...no, not really either! A few yes....most no! Non-talent in the industry...doesn't even fare that well in my book! Besides, I believe the fact that the term "porn whore" is so freely thrown around (I loathe that term btw) pretty much tells you how the consumers of porn REALLY feel anyway!

I do have a certain level of respect for every person, I think thats fair and needed.

However I don't give special respect to "facility management" for cleaning toilets, and the same goes for porn stars.
