Bear in mind as he's Indian the myth of curses play a much stronger role than they would in the west (ie people of european descent). There is always talk of black magic and bad luck which is why there are so many asian spiritual healers who list being able to rid black magic as one of their main attributes. I do believe some people have more misfortune than others (me included) but I put that down to simply life being unfair and it's not as if good incidents and bad incidents are evenly distributed between every individual/family. I would like to be able to think that all the misfortune I've had is because of a curse that I need to try and lift rather than face the harsh reality that it's simply because life's an unfair bitch and sometimes there is nothing you can do about events that are gonna negatively affect you.

Thats right, there is something called jadoo/tona in India which would be synonymous to what you call voodoo in the west. Also there are tantric babas who through penance and practice have mastered the art of casting evil eyes on people through some puja which are said to last up to four days.

You all have obviously heard of the Curse of 27 or is it a mere coincidence that a number of famous musicians all died at the age of 27? Dunno why anyone would wanna do that though .
