Some threads deserve to stay dead and buried...

well, i guess it's pretty fair that I AM starting this thread, right? :)

this is gonna be interesting...

I think it depends on the thread (content) and the context. And also the longevity of the thread; I mean nobody would revive, say, a five year old thread/ Would they?? ;)

I'm touching myself right now!

I agree. Some topics are very time-specific so it makes no sense to revive them. Others are of general interest and are still relevant even though they may be a few years old.

Before starting a new thread, the Forum guidelines tell us that we should do a search to see if there isn't already a thread that covers our topic. If a thread already exists on our subject, we should post to that thread.

On the other hand, some of the threads are so old and a lot of the links no longer work. In that case it might make sense to start a new thread. But it might also be good to mention that in the introduction to the new thread.

Got two nipples for a dime?
No but I think it make it easier to search for a pornstar when you click the search button. I find it annoying when I have to go to more than one tread of a same pornstar to find a certain pornstar I'm looking for. I think it better if there just one or two tread of a same pornstar when I looking for some pictures because if there too many treads of the same pornstar then I can't be bothered go through every one of them. The less treads of the same pornstar the better.

Pussy, pussy, where are you?
Depends on the thread! Sometimes I do it, too!

nothingandless

I don't know and frankly I don't care.
i get furious, FURIOUS!!!
so angry, in fact, ima start 1,000 "NEW" threads about which model is hotter, or maybe a she-male thread, or a whos yer favorite? thread, or just to bacon it up a little: something totally absurd.

Hell some of the current threads should not be revived.

FreeOnes is pumping through my veins!
Resurrecting an old thread complaining about people who resurrect old threads..the circularity of it amuses me.

I was thinking the same thing. A bit ironic, huh?

If FreeOnes was a woman, I'd marry her!
Depends on the topic.

If it's a general, timeless discussion, then I don't mind, but if it's a personal question asked by the OP 2-3 years earlier & the OP isn't even around anymore, then it's quite annoying.

The revival of so-called 'old' threads is quintessential to the life of this site - I would argue this view anyway.
