I did nothing but food service my whole life up until '07. 21 years of food. Did I like what I was doing and enjoy the experience? Yes but in different ways other than the cooking aspect of the job believe it or not.

the trick to successful cooking is to have people over and make dinner 45 minutes late, so everyone is starving by the time you serve it.

i love cooking. it requires creativity and knowledge. for example:

you get home, have people coming for dinner. look at your supplies, see:
limes
skirt steak
corn flakes
garden hose
k-y jelly

Me, cook? That's woman's work! I'm going to duck when I post that; I'm half expecting a woman to pop up and slap me (justifiably so). But seriously, I love to grill out. I'm not quite the chef in the kitchen, but I can cook a mean steak and chicken.

I love cooking. I do not have any favorite thing to cook. I also am a very unpicky eater.

My is Home made chicken enchilada, refried beans and spanish rice.

Like to?? No. Do I? Yes - share and share alike (my/our vows LOL). Just simple stuff for me:o Pasta with a homemade sauce, pesto; sardine sandwich with accompaniment of potatoes/veg. What can I say??? Apart from :helpme:

I'm a chef, and it's great because I love to cook.

My favorite thing to cook from the menu right now is the Chicken Fresco. It looks and smells so good. It's funny, but I've never actually tasted it, but I've been complemented on it several times.

When I'm at home, I love to cook out on the grill. Steaks, burgers, brats and chicken. And when we can afford it, nothing tops smoked oysters on the grill. Cold beer, and hickory smoke. mmmmm.

I like them raw too, with texas pete. good stuff, man.


Now I'm all sad that we're almost done with the nice weather this year.
