Do you make your own coffee in the morning?

My coffee this morning: Excellent.

And, as I buy green beans and roast them myself, I estimate it costs about thirty cents a cup.

I can't fathom getting my daily brew anywhere but Casa de x. I alternate between a Mr. Coffee drip brewer and a vintage Corningware electric percolator. I highly recommend trying different brewing methods.

I don't drink coffee in the morning. Not as soon as I get up anyway. I enjoy that groggy feeling one gets having only slept 3-4 hours the night before - it lets me know I'm still alive. Headache, stiff neck coughing up blood . . . all of these things make up a part of my morning routine and to introduce coffee into that might ruin the experience.

No, I tend to favour a cup of the oddly flavoured brown stuff around mid-afternoon when the shakes start to kick in and I need something stimulating to get me through the rest of the day before I can get my hands on a bottle of cheap Scotch and drown my sorrows in front of a computer screen, interacting with a bunch of retards.

I think I'm offended, but I'm not sure.

Ah well, just to be sure: Fuck you, BlueBalls. I hope your dildo breaks off in your ass again.

Nope, my mum has it piping hot & ready for me along with hot cakes & sausage when I get up at 11AM each morning. If I sleep past noon, I, on my very own have to nuke the brew back to temperature in the microwave.

The life of Riley, you know?

Why did I have to tell them everything for?:o

Even the coffee here at the gas station (Costa Coffee) cost around £3.50 for a medium which is over $5!

I'd love to brew it at home, but the little lady hates the smell of coffee.

Who in their right mind hates the smell of coffee?

When we have coffee, I do make it. Hub's has 2 sweet n' lows with some hazelnut creamer. Mine is more complex...
I only started drinking coffee a few months ago, so I'm not very fond of the taste. I start with a packet of hot chocolate and some sugar. Put 2/3 cup of coffee and 1/3 cup of water. Sometimes I can't even taste the coffee.

I'm sorry, you're a lovely person, but that's just an abomination.

Call me a fag, a kid or whatever but I never made the "big jump" to coffee drinking. I'm still having chocolat on the morning. I never drink coffee, I don't like how it tastes.

@ jinxypie : But the semll of coffee is fine.

Agree! That smell is all that gets me out of bed in the AM... I set it to start at 0555, so the smell gets up to my bedroom around 610, and that is my little treat for having to end my blissful sleep to endure another day of drudgery and assholes.

The smell of brewing coffee literally gets me aroused. :)

Throw the Dark French Roast coffee in the circular file and get yourself some medium roast Columbian or Kona Arabica bean coffee, it's much softer on the palate than that trendy blackened, burned to a crisp espresso/ French style roast coffee. Really, the very best coffee beans end up getting roasted to a milk chocolate brown color while the not so good beans get roasted to a color that resembles something like graphite (espresso/ fr. roast).
