Do You Still Go To The Movies?

I don't go to the cinema anymore because its become too expensive in my mind the local ones here so I wait for the movie to come out instead and buy the dvd.

Usually I will go to the theater but I will only go to my local cinema where its only $5 or I will go to the drive in where you get two movies for $18 and when you bring a lot of people and split up the costs its usually only $3 per person which is cheap.

Yes...other than the big widescreen, you have Imax as the other option. Not sure about paying extra for 3D, with the exception of James Cameron's Avatar, but 2D works just great. :yesyes:

Not as much as I use to. I did go see Transformers 3 and the last time I was in the theater before that was to see the first Transformers.

It is just too expensive, better to wait for the DVD

When "going to the movies" always buy snacks elsewhere....and I don't know what theatres y'all visit. My is cheap as hell....and is overall a good experience assuming you can withstand the occasional mice "interruptions".

If you go to the cinema on a friday/saturday night then you're bound to have loads of idiots around you. Go another time or go to a better class of cinema that has a better class of customer. Sadly you probably won't be able to see Transformers 9 at those sort of places. . .

I do not go to the cinema and I do not use net services to watch movies.

I usually wait until the movie comes out on DVD and watch it on the TV at home. One new DVD is cheaper than two cinema tickets here in the UK.

The Blair Witch Project.

These are the only movies I've watched in the cinema. It's "Home Video" for me or should that now be "Home DVD" since video is not defunct.
