Doctors and love life, does such a thing really exist with them?

Although my Indian parents are quite nice about my dating life (they don't care if I date or marry a Black, Hispanic or Asian woman, they say if I am gay then they could handle that too), they aren't too liberal on my career choices. They have tried their best to push me into the medical profession, and, well, I have grown to love a lot about it but then comes in other things.

I know doctors have to work hard and rarely have enough time to live a life outside the hospital but how does their love life go?

I have around a 3.75 science GPA and a 3.8 GPA overall at my current university. My last university I had a 3.6 overall GPA and a 3.5 science GPA. I was wondering.

Watch Grey's Anatomy. It's an accurate portrayal of the medical profession and the romance that blossoms amidst all of the chaos and long hours.

Just date one of the patients so you can see each other all the time. I recommend a comatose one, they'll never leave you ;)

Doesn't that apply to most of us? I mean, a lot of people who are not a doctor have to work hard and do long hours but they can manage a love life.

Add that women also throw themselves at doctors . All you gotta do is go out one time and just say ''I'm a doctor'' and you'll be surrounded by women and you can just take your pick.

my dream girl would be Ice La Fox, I mean where would I find women who look similar to her or are from similar ethnic backgrounds as her?

I thought you said you had a Puerto Rican girlfriend? And I believe Ice La Fox/D'Angelo is also Puerto Rican. So, have you thought about... er... Puerto Rico?! (or Miami... pretty much the same difference) :dunno:

Yes, but if you watch Grey's Anatomy, you get to see Lexie (Chyler Leigh).

That's reason enough to tune in right there. :D

Please read the story of Dr. Christ P. Koulis, who entered medical school at 19 in Chicago, spent 10 years in surgery and plastic surgery training until 2000. He started practice in 2,000 and charged with homicide in less than 2 years

Dr. Christ P. Koulis was convicted of negligence causing death of his girlfriend in Franklin Tennessee. Dr. Koulis appealed the case and was finally
sentenced to 2 years in prison but killed himself by overdose of narcotics medication in March 2010.

Think carefully about your career !!!

Yes, I bribed and cheated to get this far
Just had some experience about this. I was seeing this girl who's an obstetrician from Mexico. I did go out with her a few times but she was on vacation when we went out and after that the time between each date kept increasing. I met her in March '08, went out with her again in July, then later in November, then for the last time in May '09, same thing with the phone calls. It was very hard for me to actually find her at home or even get her to answer her cell phone, if she wasn't seeing a patient or having to go to seminars and stuff from work, there was also her family obligations. She was in her 40's and still single, never married, and she was quite attractive but just never gave herself time. Some of her colleagues, or most of them were married, but either had some marital problems or were divorced so that kind of discouraged her from getting married.

Well, I'm a doctor and I get laid constantly.

Plus, I have the time to fuck around here all the time.

So go figure.

Why do you think Dr. McCoy said he was a doctor in every episode?
