Does a porn DVD have higher resolution than downloaded DVD?

I have bought several DVDs over the last few years and some of them I absoltely cherish like the Where the boys aren't #19 and Lela Start: A start is porn.

However, older movies (like 5 - 7 years old) are usually available in 360p or 480p when downloaded. Even in 480p they don't look as if they really are 480p.

If I buy an actual DVD disc and have it delivered to my door, will it have a higher resolution? I mean, the non-porn movies we watch have high resolution always. Is it the same with porn too?

Depends on the company, really. Quite a few prefer to keep the best quality on their membership site, but at the same time stuff like bonus scenes are only on the DVD.

Take example of "Where the boys are not #19" about Arabian Nights theme. I cannot find high resolution video of it anywhere. Downloading gives 360p and 480p but the 480p does not seem really 480p. If I buy it in DVD, will that have higher resolution, how do I find out?

DVD quality up to 576P,maybe they did something about bitrate size like compression,just like when i converted some music video from the original DVD,the bitrate about 3000 something

A downloaded dvd? Like an iso file? Or are you downloading an .mp4? Also depends on the original source. In the early days I used to prefer buying a dvd rather than download a scene because the file quality sucked. But now .mp4 videos shot in HD or 4k look great on a big tv.

Club Jenna is part of Moviebox, they do tout HD scenes but they don't really list anything for non-members.
