So let's see if I've got this right:

Humans killing lions is cool, in fact it should be encouraged until lions are extinct.

Lions killing humans is uncool and if one happens upon a lion killing a human, one must immediately drop everything and kill the lion with one's bare hands, and then hunt down and kill every other lion on the face of the earth.

Lions killing other lions is uncool and if one comes upon lions killing other lions you must drop everything and kill the lions and then proceed to kill every other lion on the face of the Earth.

If an animal or a human murders a human they should be killed.

There are rogue animals, believe it or not.
They sometimes kill for no reason and do not eat what they have killed.

I agree with you, if there's a lion going around killing people, he's got to be trapped and killed. But lets not forget, we're encroaching. So the fault does not lie entirely with the animal. So can it really be called wrong?

Got a great conversation going on in another thread that kinda ties in with this. Nature doesn't know right and wrong. Has no morality.

No they shouldnt. It's the nature of the animal to attack for food or in fear, so why should the animal be killed if some moron decides to - for example - kill it or is in its territory? As for human killing a human thats a whole other thread.

Maybe there are, but why should they also be killed? Animals are not human and there have been enough extinctions ever since we decided to encroach on their habitat already so why do anymore need to die.

They have lived in these places for longer than we have who are we to try and control them and why do humans come first? Any human who decides to walk into the environment of an animal thats going to attack should know the risks and it is their own fault if they get hurt.

It's that mentality that has caused the extinction of so many species to begin with

But it can become a problem. Especially if they ARE eating who they kill. They begin to think of humans as a food source... and when that happens, really the only option we have is to kill them.

Yes, we live in their territory. That's no reason to allow this kind of thing to continue.

I think it's very unfortunate, but I also feel it is necessary SOME of the time.
