I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Its OK, but I couldn't help feeling that it was deliberately made to be a cult film. It seemed quite cynically put together to meet the requirements. The director went on to make quite possibly the worst most self-indulgent film ever, Southland Tales. The Box was good though.
I Loved this movie, just saw it for the first time last year. Its a must see!

You just compared Donnie Darko to The American. These films have NOTHING in common. Absolutely nothing. I'm quite fucking baffled where this came from...
You also claimed Fight Club is pointless. You probably saw it from one angle, "it's a movie about fighting", and completely lost any message they presented.
