download accelerator's

do download accelerator's work for downloading files off p2p ...like music and videos ? or just for surfing the internet faster ?....if so anyone recommend any good programs ?

they dont really do anything for p2p downloading. It really doesnt accelerate your actual speed at all but just brings up graphics faster.
