Yeah...uh, I'm just going to stop now where I still have a reasonable chance of making back from following you around getting lost. If you don't know why the link came up that way, I'll leave it to someone else to explain it for you.
Well for me, not really. The OP is wondering what's with the phenomena.
I've posted reasonable examples of what it's about. This is where the train left the tracks.
It's interesting how real models shows up in the text. There's an African tribe where they paint their faces and stick out their tongues in a distinctly original "fashion"...
The comment about the African tribe was in regard to the idea of a cultural context for certain facial expressions-and I used the word "fashion" as a semi-clever way to relate it to fashion models.

"Who cares about Derek Zoolander anyway? The man has only one look, for Christ's sake! Blue Steel? Ferrari? Le Tigra? They're the same face! Doesn't anybody notice this? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!"

There is a difference between pouty and this shit. I've never seen a legit model make this face in a magazine, on a runway or on TV. The reason they do it is simple. they are monkeys and monkey see, monkey do. Anyone that age capable of a coherent, independent thought is completely ostracized, bullied or simply not accepted or seen as attractive. Some are idiots and others want to be perceived as idiots because it is safer than standing out. I thought the tech boom of the late 90's might change make being intelligent acceptable, but the technology itself (and probably reality TV garbage), quickly killed that possibility.
Of course....allot of girls mockingly imitated all kinds of legitimate model poses as larks. This is one that has taken off and is clearly over the top and exaggerated larks many times.
You're just not looking. Obviously when it's done correctly or as an authentic pose by a model it wouldn't look goofy like amateurs and other people who are mocking it.

you don't see the difference between those pics you posted and those videos?
I don't believe it.
this time you've gone to far, this time you've gone to far.
now I know you are arguing just for the sake of arguing.
