Never been to a Dunkin' or a KK. Shipley's Donuts is the big chain in the area. Potato flour dough. Pretty good stuff only drawback is the crap coffee.

We have neither in the Uk, well not near me anyway :crying:. Years ago a distant relative we barely see worked in the Krispy Kreme in Birmingham and gave my mum a box when she went up there, she brought the box home and when I tried it I thought damn I never knew doughnuts could taste so good, never had any since. Our local donuts look like this

My first Krispy Kreme donut was given to me hot: I was in pure heaven. Either hot right out of the oven watching the factory line in the Krispy Kreme store roll or cold I prefer Krispy Kreme donuts. I'm so glad they returned to Philly. I'm ticked the last Krispy Kreme store after the franchise in the Philly/NJ area declared bankruptcy last decade DD stepped into that store.
