Dutch police arrest 56 bikers over potential clash

Dutch police arrested 56 members of a national motorcycle club in the capital Amsterdam to prevent a possible clash with rival club Hells Angels, police said Sunday.

There were indications that members of the Satudarah biker club had travelled to Amsterdam to challenge their rivals, according to a police statement.
"A possible confrontation between Satudarah and members of the Hells Angels had to be taken in account," the statement said.

The 56 were arrested "late last night (Saturday) for a public order disturbance. Those arrested all belong to the biker club Satudarah," police also said.

It was unclear where the Satudarah members came from, but a local report stated the club, established by bikers of Moluccan descent, had at least 10 chapters around the Netherlands. Police declined to reveal further information.
Police acted as tensions are believed to be escalating between the club and the Hells Angels, a local report said. The Hells Angels has some 17 chapters around the Netherlands and has so far thwarted prosecutors' attempts to have it declared a criminal organisation.

Dutch police spokesman Joost van Slobbe told national daily Algemeen Dagblad on Saturday that police believed "the balance between the biker clubs has been disturbed."

The Dutch police and D.A. has failed to stop the Hells Angels for years, which are nothing but a bunch of criminals, simply because they are too scared and crybabies, yet as soon some rivals of the Hells Angels made themselves heard they immediately arrest them. Real though guys, Dutch police officers.

Funny note: the Hells Angels rivals, Satudarah, are a Moluccan gang, the leader of the Dutch Angels is a Moluccan himself.

I'd advise to put all of those gangs posing as biker crews in a closed environment - maybe Berlin Tempelhof Airport, which is closed to air traffic, and play Thunderdome.

The one gang that has members alive at the end can come out.

Though I do have to give them credit...someone did call and check if I really put in the online police report when my bike got stolen. The same day...I thought hell froze over.

Policemen always need to portray and put stickers on men with a big beard who ride harley davidson motorcyles with flames and the skull as evil people or bandits.:sarcasm: The Hells Angels is the biggest motor cycle club in the USA and it is becoming to be the first one in Western and Eastern Europe. Not all HAs are criminal but a big number of them had a criminal past, the Bandidos, the Mongols and the Outlaws were always their main rivals.
In some states of America or during their meetings or parades, the HAs are so numerous that the police is always not far from them, but in a street fight, put 500 HAs against a precinct and you will see who wins.
I have encountered some HAs in the USA 12 years ago and encountered some HAs in Amsterdam in 2007. I talked mainly about motorcycles, gear and driving on long distance with them. From my own experience, I was quite well welcomed despite not owning a harley and not being member. Belonging to a 1% outlaw club and the biker life is one style of living and is not recommended for everyone unless you are very tough in the head and you are not afraid to impose yourself by force if needed. If it is not for you, then join your local Harley Owners Group.

It is more or less the same in Denmark and in Sweden even though Germany and Switzerland HAs are said to be more sociable.

Dutch Hells Angels are scum, I hate generalizations but this is the exception.
