A subject which has been debated exhaustively, especially the Euro girls versus American Girls debate. There are a few threads which discuss that aspect already. So, let's try to keep this one limited to the movies themselves (ie style, production values, giving the consumer what they want, etc).

What I see as the current trend in the porn industry, is European Films are like productions from Vivid or Wicked with more anal scenes. Let me qualify this by saying the only European movies i see are from Private. They normally have a plot, a lot of style, great locations and nice wardrobes. Depending on if you prefer "features" or "gonzo", will determine whether you think they are good or not. These are more like "features" and is a toss-up between them and productions from Vivid.

As far as filthiness. The filthiest videos are "gonzo" productions from US companies like Red Light District, Zero Tolerance and Evil Angel. Ironically, most of these companies now use many European girls and many of the Directors are European, but they are still American products.

Finally, most of these arguments usually come down to an expression of nationalism (my country is better than yours) and ultimately a viewers personal preferance (what, who gets you off). There are great vids and a lot of crap on both sides of the Atlantic.
