Meh his father was a musician too. So he also has genetics on his side. His stepfathers' have been mostly artists or magicians too. So he has a few things in his favor. I feel bad for him though, as a 5 record deal will put enormous pressure on him, and it will be even worse when the music critics and "in crowd" get after him for getting a record deal so early.

It would have been better if he made a record, toured a little and then got his 5 record deal.
