Faith No More Reunion

Great set

It's a shame I couldnt get to Download this year, every other time I have been it's been a great weekend.

But I tried my hardest for tickets, but to no avail.

I have two tickets for the Dublin gig. Camped out all night for them, and spent £110 to get them, but it's going to be so fucking worth it.

Are you guys fucking serious?!? You'll really spend £110 to get tickets to see a show?!? I've worked the Download Festival 3 or 4 times, and every time I've felt cheated because I was paid less than $500 bucks. :dunno:

Faith No More are my favourite band, and this is the reunion after 11 years of being split up. I'd have spent that much on one ticket, let alone two. Plus, I'll probably end up being reimbursed for the second one by the friend I'm taking, though it's no big deal if I don't.

What do you do to get the chance to work all these tours/shows?

I was there 2005, 2006 and had a great time.

There are also some of the most wonderfully accommodating women in the world there ;). Which just adds to the fun.

I guess it's different when you work there...

What do I do? I put up with rock stars' egos, lighting designers' temperamentalism, production managers' tantrums, and out-of-coke-because-it's-the-last-day-of-the-tour road crews' attitudes. All in a day's work.

Definitely different when you work there. I should check it out from the other side of the stage sometime. Maybe I'll spot these accommodating women of which you speak. :D
