Fake rape

What kinda of punishment deserves a woman/man who makes a false rape report to the police?

Imprisonment, at the very least. There was a case here in the States, in which a man came home, and found his wife being fucked by some guy. She screamed rape, the husband shot, and killed the other man, and as it turns out, after the police investigated, the guy fucking her, was really her boyfriend, or an affair...BUT NOT A RAPE. They prosecuted the woman, for the guys murder, and not the husband, as he did, what any reasonable man would have done, if his wife was in danger.

I would say that at least one year imprisonment and tough fines to person who makes a false declarition.
