This is just stupid. I say leave this guy ALONE. How fast can a tractor go, all you hicks? Five miles an hour??? It reminds me of that Aussie that got one for driving a go-cart-like thing with a keg on it. Dumb authorities.



I would say his snitch neighbors better damn well know this guy well because anyone can go off for just about anything nowadays, and for them to snitch was questionable. This guy could go ballistic on them if he loses it.

Then again tractors are big heavy pieces of equipment, often with sharp or thick tools and other attachments of the front of them, and they are often wide enough they take up more than one lane of road. While it might not be going fast a car coming the opposite way might be. If the tractor goes into the other lane suddenly, like say from a person that's drunk driving it and not controlling it well, when there's an oncoming car it can be a recipe for disaster.

That's a good point. But this was really really rural area. I can't be sure of course how sparsely populated it was so you might be absolutely right.
