The flip side is that libs like to whitewash WWII because we were "killing fascists" while ignoring the evils of communism and decrying any other war we've fought. War is a terrible thing, but some wars are necessary.

we did get rid of the Nazis, but half of Europe lost their freedom, and did not regain it for 50 years. England and France went to war with Germany over Poland, but Poland ended up as a vassal of the soviet union instead.

I am unsure if those axes are about Fascism.

In the 80ies, they were used by hardcore feminists, being sprayed or scribbled on walls etc to propagate chopping off rapers', abusers' and generally any men's dicks that they saw as a bad guy (which was pretty much every guy who did not fell over backwards to say, 'Yes, Mam' all the time)
