even fucking Dick Cheney didn't disown his daughter. As much as I dislike him, I have to respect him for the way he handled his daughter being gay.
I think all of these right wing jesus freaks would have a much different view if their child was gay. some are just hopeless because there is only 1 absolute and no other alternative to even be considered.

Mariah seems to enjoy arguing here. Maybe she should start a new show called "ArgueWithMariah" or something. Every week one new religious challenger appears to battle it out verbally with Mariah in a boxing ring about any religious subjects. Maybe Blue Countach and Philpert could make special appearences or even team up in special tag team match. I said that the Bible teaches that homosexvality is a perversion and that there are those that will never accept it as anything but that. I peronally live and let live but I do defend the rights of people of faith not to be subjected to it and also for the churches that will not ordain gay or female ministers because it is in direct conflict with their interpretation of the Bible. I also treat all people with respect if they show me the same courtesy unlike you who wouldn't know common courtesy if you stumbled over it in the street.

what about the rights of people who don't believe in your fairy tale? why do we have to be subjected to it? why do we have to tolerate laws based on religion in a country that was founded on the separation of the church and the government?
you don't know me to say that I don't know what courtesy is. You only know me on this forum. I think you would be pretty shocked at the person I am and the way I treat people in my life. Just as it would be easy for me to say you are a heartless bible beater without an ounce of compassion based on your posts here, but that wouldn't be fair and more than likely not very accurate.

as far as my JH family goes, they were all catholic but were converted when they moved to LA from Brooklyn. on my father's side my grandpa never was JH only my grandma and both grandparents on my moms side were converted in the 1970s as of now my fathers mom and his sister are JH and my moms mom. the rest all left or were disfellowshipped for divorce or other shit like living with a woman out of marriage, socializing with worldly people etc.
