Favourite movie scene

Loads of good one's I can think of:

Samuel L Jackson speech about the path of the righteous man.

Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in True Romance.

Uma Thurman and Lucy Lui fight scene in Kill Bill.

Joe Pesci's funny how in Goodfellas

Anyone got a favourite?

Funny you should mention that - that's one of mine too - but I keep wishing Lucy Liu won instead. I know it's stupid - but while I can accept Una killing the Crazy 88 & Go-Go, I have a hard time dealing with Lucy Liu's brain exposed to the world.

Another favourite scene: when Gort first leaves the flying saucer in "The Day The Earth Stood Still"
http://www.jeffbots.com/gort.html

The closing scene in "The (original 1963) Haunting", when someone suggests tearing down Hill House and covering the soil with salt (the whole film is eerie, anyway)

The closing twist-in-the-tale scenes of "The Usual Suspects"

The music for me in that scene is just sensational.

 Great scene. I suppose in a same way I suppose you can include the twist in the tale scene in Shawshank Redemption.

Other movies I like due to the soundtrack:

Opening scene of Barry Lyndon

Opening scene of Casino

The classical music (especially the latter - "Matthaus Passion" by J.S. Bach) is awesome!

The beginning of the Shawshank Redemption. Where Warden Norton is welcoming them. That scene has always stuck with me, especially this line:
"Put your trust in the Lord, your ass belongs to me."

Violator79

Take a Hit, Spunker!
The soap making scene in Fight Club

Any scene in Tombstone (fav movie ever)

Any scene with Kate Beckinsale

All scenes from Scarface

Misery

Will you be my friend?
The drug deal scene in Boogie Nights.

The beating/killing of Billy Batts in Goodfellas.

Beach landing in Saving Private Ryan.

LOL...I have it on too! It's one of those movies that I can watch it from any point. From the start...halfway through...or just the last 10 minutes.

More like one of those movies that, if they play it 3 times a day, you'll end up catching it every time its played, whether it just be a few minutes or an hour.

Another mention:
The Silence of the Lambs, pretty much any scene showing Hannibal

2 great choices there - Full Metal Jacket and Apocolypse now.

Full Metal Jacket where Private Pyle kills the drill sergeant and himself.

Apocolypse Now where Robert Duvall does his Napaim (spelling?) in the morning speech.

Violator79

Pretty much any quote from "The Untouchables"

My favorite: "Life goes on … a man becomes preeminent he is expected to have enthusiasms … enthusiasms … enthusiasms ….

What are mine? What draws my admiration? What is that that which gives me joy?

BASEBALL!

A man stands alone at the plate … This is the time for what?

For individual achievement.

There he stands alone, but in the field part of what? Part. Of. A. Team.

Looks, throws, catches, hustles, part of one big team. Bats himself to live long day, Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and so on. If his team don’t field what is he? NO ONE!

Sunny day stands are full of fans, what does he have to say? I’m going out there for myself, but I get no where unless the TEAM wins."

Asian Knight

I need to clean my screen
Action-Brandon Lee's fight scene in "The Crow". Brandon Lee, R.i.P.

Tv Action-Anything with Thuy Trang (Trini Kwan). R.i.P. Thuy, we'll miss ya.

Motorcycle riding-Francoise Yip racing that blonde chick in Rumble in the Bronx.

Comedic-Ming Na Wen in Street Fighter (Live Action) when she kicks Van Damme. When she asks for the interview, he replies "Only if your wearing that dress."

Special effects scene-Anyone where you see X-Rays in "Romeo Must Die".

Stunt scene-When Jackie Chan runs over that guy with the hovercraft in "Rumble in the Bronx."

Partial nudity-Kate Bekinsale & Scott Speedman in "Underworld Evolution". You can almost see her puppies noses.
