Fed Gov Has Wasted $60 MILLION Taxpayer $$$ on Bonds, Clemens "Trials"

PJpenny

Piss off - I'm wanking
No one more dependable than the government to prosecute liars. Big problem was the fact perjury is one of the hardest crimes to prove in open court, as much as i hate to give criminals a break, id say everyone should just say no to purjury prosecutions. Historically too difficult to prove.

The Roger Clemons thing was the worst of court, how many millions must it have cost for a 2 day mistrial, what a waste of time:rolleyes:

Conspiracy...
Another reason they need to stay out of Major League Baseball's business.

It's time to end this silliness, Obama :D

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
Actually it was his guy, Holder, whose appointee was the one who fucked up the Clemens thingy. Eric Holder - what a fuckin' douchenozzle.

 Obama was a Senator when Clemens first appeared before congress and the Clemens investigation (when he appeared before congress) began before Obama got into office (remember, he was a Senator:o).

Tell us specifically how Holder "fucked up the Clemens thingy"?

You sound almost as lost as m/p sounds on the Waco 'thingy'. He accuses the Clintons (Hillary specifically) with essentially planning an execution of these people.

On problem, the investigation began before Clinton got into office and it was triggered by a local cop calling the BATF...:o

I guess the Clintons didn't like the gun and dope running competition Koresh was involved in....but I thought Hill said it takes a village.

As far as I understand the prosecutor in the Clemens ordeal who twice dropped the ball on the judge's specifics to avoid using hearsay was a Holder appointee. If It is otherwise then I stand corrected.

Either way, the government had no reason to be meddling in the affairs of the MLB (and this was a bipartisan situation altogether). Tens of millions of dollars down the drain on the taxpayer's back.

The guys in charge of the U.S. government when those trials were held were the Republicans. You know...those same sorts who we are for some reason supposed to support when it comes to fiscal responsibility. You know. The guys who shoved us unprepared into two wars and massive tax cuts that have financially put this country into a huge hole. You know, the same guys who are punishing the banks and mortgage companies partially responsible for the great recession by slicing away at education, safety, and the elderly - while making sure those same banks and mortgage companies get even more tax cuts. Yeah. Those guys.
Fuck the Republican party.

I don't think the G-spot exists!
its a ridiculous affair no matter which sports team is in office...

The Senate Committees are wholly ill-equiped for any sort of investigation and completely lacking of ANY sort of enforcement power. For one, the people doing the questioning aren't attorneys by trade and are incapable of any meaningful cross-examination. It is a joke

So here's the point I was trying to get across on this. You are critical of Holder for dropping the ball in a game that you believe shouldn't even be being played.

You follow?

The investigation (one you believe should have never occurred) started under another body of g'ment and different JOD. Nowww, you believe an investigation and process spoilt in your opinion from the start (because it should have never started) should now have been flawlessly executed by the guy you dislike.

That about sum it up?

He didn't like it, because it never happened.

The Branch Davidians were murdered.

I'm with ya on the fact that 'the Clintons' gave the go-ahead to murder all these people.

I'm just trying to figure out what the motivation was for the Clintons to murder these poor, innocent people since the investigation into the BDs started before he was in office.

It can't be because the Koresh's were raising all those kids in the compound since that's a village Hill would have supported.

Was Bill jealous of Koresh because he had his concubine out in the open while he had to sneak around with Paula Jones???

Was it because the BD's were competing with the Clintons criminal enterprise??

What was the motivation for Clinton to send the jackbooted executioners down to Waco a mere month after he took office??

Ah, yes...Jorge Dubya. Another dumbshit I never voted for. Texas Rangers owner. You are correct I believe he had something to do with it as well.

I guarantee it is nowhere near that total. It’s like when people claim that the death penalty costs X millions of dollars.

Those totals count everything that was going to be paid out anyway. X amount to pay the Judge, prosecutor etc. X amount to pay for the air conditioning and electricity in the federal building etc.

Also: What Mega said.
