I'm probably going to check it out in December but the trailer just looks like a complete CGI fest (which is fine if it wasn't a mix of live action and CGI) and doesn't look all that great. I don't think it's going to be as good as people are trying make it out to be.

No, because he's been working on it for decades, hyping it up beyond belief without even showing us a glimpse of how it will look (until now). And have you actually seen the trailer? It looks like a war film made by disney.

And the fact he made Titanic also pisses me off.

Finally its here! The most groundbreaking innovative cg sci-fi movie of all time! Although looking at the trailer I thought I was watching a mix of The Clone Wars & Final Fantasy The Spirits Within.

Hmm, I don't know, what to think of it.
We've been untroubled so far by the hype, so my expectations weren't that high (except that they are higher than usual just because it's a James Cameron film ).
Really looks like a special effects and cgi slugfest. What I really didn't like is the fact that the trailer (like it has been en vogue lately with filmmakers) hardly tells you anything about the movie itself. I mean, I don't need those trailers back, that tell you everything about the movie, so that the actual film is just a filler. But I'd like at least either some kind of hint or a trailer that leaves you wanna speculate and think about it. This one did neither.
Doesn't mean it won't be a possibly great movie, though.

I saw the trailer a couple of days ago online,and while I thought it looked o.k.,I wasn't blown away.Today,it was one of the trailers for Inglorious Basterds,and while it actually does look a lot better on the big screen,I'm just not all that hyped up to see it.I'll probably see it anyway,but I really don't know what all the rave is about.Michelle Rodriguez is enough to keep me away from seeing this movie.I really can's stand her,and don't really know why Cameron cast her.
