Remember the
jigsaw gaffer? His jigsaw puzzle was meant to depict James Tissot's "The Return of the Prodigal Son" which hangs at the Louvre.
Here's my theory: Gramps McGregor went to Paris to get his hands on the flipping missing piece by cutting it out of the original painting. Alas, due to heavy traffic on the Place de la Republique, he got lost and stranded in the wrong museum. The old codger was determined, though, not to come back to England with empty hands. After all, he had taken the risk to smuggle a pair of scissors through the airport security check.
