Flv Recorder

Hi Everybody!

Hey can anybody recommend a good reliable reasonably easy to use and if possible free Flv Recorder?

I have one called flv recorder 4 by streaming star but it has bugs. sometimes it doesnt work, sometimes the video is screwed up and won't play right.
Another one I had was freecorder 4 by apllian, but it records everything you view, cant stop it.
So every time you watch a vid you gotta delete the recording of it after, that can't be good for the comp.
I want something that records streaming video as well but there doesn't seem to be many good ones out there.

Any suggestions?

You could also give Orbit downloader a go too. That sniffs out the proper flv download link for you.

I have a question for anybody who might now.
I installed freecorder 4 again.
The thing about this thing is that it records everything thats played, youtube ect, and saves it in a file.
you can then delete it of course.

my question is what effect could this have on the comp?
can recording all those mb's then deleting them screw things up?

The effect of that would be fragmentation of the hard drive and theoretically it makes ants come out of the keyboard. Nahh...that would be TOC or one of his cohorts. But it theoretically slows down your computer because deleting these files leaves fragments and gaps of space on your HDD where the files used to be.

Answer; run disk cleanup then defrag the thing periodically.

Strange how the program doesn't have a don't record or on off option.
