But it does seem strange that if the guy did hit the cop with a bag of beer that the cop would pull his gun and kill him.

Also, it's very odd to be so selective over what you believe based on NOT seeing the video. Based on NOT seeing it you believe the suspect didn't hit the officer, but you do believe the officer attacked the defendant?
When a man (any man, cop or not) with a gun tells you to do something, whether or not it's justified, you fucking do it. That's called survival. Call me old fashioned, but I'd rather sort out my civil rights violations later while I'm still alive and able to claim and spend the large compensation settlement, than win the instant 'moral victory' by being senselessly dead.
Well cat on the other hand should we automatically believe the police even with eyewitness accounts that what the police have said is not what happened at all?
And if the cop did do as witnesses said do you think he's gonna admit it or make up a story.
There will be an investigation and trial on this........or more likely the police will give the dead mans family millions and put a gag order on it so the truth never really comes out.

What gets me though, everyone automatically assumes the police are in the wrong these days. Hell!! Maybe they are? But I think I'll wait and see.
People do assume that a lot these days, and a lot of it is justified.
In this case from what we know it just seems odd.
Would this guy who people say was a good guy really just hit the cop and if he did would the cop actually shoot him?

Also, if this makes nationwide news and the cop did do as witnesses say this has the potential to cause another LA 93 situatin.
