freedom of speech vs hate speech?

bustybbwlover

I'm so great I'm jelous of myself.
the limitations of freedom must be within the individual, in the end no law ever stops someone from acting as they truly want to, while i understand the need for laws to say things like don't kill folk in the end if someone really wants to kill they will, and if someone really wants to say some off the wall bullshit they will

AFK..being taken to the vet to get neutered.
It is better that 100 hate filled bigots get to spew their venom in any way they want, rather than one just or ordinary citizen stay silent out of fear of the consequences.

It's not pretty, it's not comfortable, but it is the only way to ensure true freedom of speech.

Freedom must have limitations. Respect of other people should be one of them.

Unjust laws never stop anything or anyone.

There are too many laws.

I'm not born to a state.
I am born unto myself.

No one is going to stop me from saying whatever I want whenever I want.

Good then, keep that in your country.

We want freedom in America. :hatsoff:

We do, we most certainly do want freedom in America, I agree, but does that mean that nutter extremist radicals should be guaranteed the right to circulate throughout the country and chant ''death to the president'' or ''death to Americans'' *† on every street corner? No they should not.

Any language that incites, threatens and perpetrates violence should be highly discouraged in a civil society.

*† D_ath to UK and France OK.

I meant anything.

Unless someone is physically hurting someone else or their property then we can over look words. We cannot let words be made into crimes.

Or.... we will start seeing more censorship, like what happened to Mark Twain. :nono:

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.

Respect for others is nice but it shouldn't be against the law if you're not.

For example, I don't believe it's respectful to cheat on your g/f but I'm 'pro choice' on it. Meaning, people should be free from prosecution to do it.
