<Freeones> WoW Guild?

Hello,

Anyone else here play WoW ? Would you be interested in putting together a <Freeones> Guild on a US server ? Ideally we could all roll new characters on a different server and speed insanely fast through to 70 (And eventually 80).

Just a suggestion.

thats a great idea BUT... i play on a free server (with mangos emu) 'cause here on my country is not easy to buy and/or pay for an account on bli$$sard.

Well that's two possible... It's kinda funny how there are so many people in this board that are most of the time on other game threads like "Yeah i play wow" ect.

I thought Americans and Europeans can play on each others servers, can't they.

Nope, unlike SOE games, Blizzard set it up so you can only play on servers in your region. You can only play on American servers if you use an American cc/billing address and if you have an Euro cc/billing address you're stuck with the Euro servers.

When WOW first came out I had several accounts of Euro friends on my CC so they could play with their american guild that moved over from EQ.

You just need to get a us trial to play on us, All clients are available for free (enUS Retail & TBC-Expansion). It doesn't cost anymore... Maybe you would be interested in joining us, Petra ?

What about if you used game cards instead of a CC? I thought I remember hearing about somebody from the U.S. playing on an Oceanic server. I'm not sure about that, though.

Nope, not interested. I played for about 3 months after it's release and went back to Everquest.

I do a little EQ2 now, but most of my gaming is table top now.

Yes. I play in a weekly D&D game and then run a weekly game from another gaming system. It's great fun. And I'm such a geek.

europeans can play on US realms if they buy imported US game cards (which are often sold in good game stores). they are slightly more expensive, but not significant.

as for me, I gave up on wow some time ago, having four level 70 characters, two alliance and two horde. but it was an awesome game when you were the most caught up in it i just try to avoid MMO's these days as they are pretty time consuming.
