Call me crazy, but I thought there might be some funny people in a movie called "Funny People".

Adam Sandler? Nope.

It's kind of like when my fucking roommate got a movie called Funny Games and we all watched it. The movie wasn't funny; in fact, it was supposed to be suspense. What a load of bullshit that movie was.

When the credits rolled I felt like I had wasted 2 hours of my life in vain. I could've been doing something productive in that time, like looking at porn or playing video games. My roommate said it's based on a German movie. I guess I'd have to be European to enjoy it. :dunno:

It is a very polarizing movie you either like it or don't. It's basically a shot for shot remake so you're not missing anything much if you dont see the German version. I think the movie was directed at an American audience, that's why it was remade so more people could see it. Who the director believed were the worst hit by the rampant violence within society. It is a very polarizing movie.

But, as it bombed at the box office I guess it didn't work .

Most movie actors are not funny; in fact they are pretty boring people. I consider someone funny when he/she can creat his/her own material. Funny movies are written by professionally funny writers and it's the script that makes actors look funny.
