Funny Translation Mistakes

Well, maybe you had a laugh about the titles of stuff because... well, in your translation, it just goes wrong

Here are some nice examples

1. The 'Hummer' - In german lingo, Hummer means 'Lobster'

2. The 'Mitsubishi Pajero' - Means 'Wanker'

3. There was a friendship game of Bayer Leverkusen with a brazilian club. The players were announced each. And one of them really got the crowd going. The name was 'Franco Foda' which translateds to 'Free Fucking' in the lingo of the land there :1orglaugh

There is a concept in the behavioral sciences called "Out of sight, Out of mind" meaning some animals don't think of something once it's out of their view. It has been translated as "He was blind and crazy". Lost in translation big time.
