Here's one: Career Criminal. You start the game with nothing but 10 dollars in your pocket, you could spend all your money on a knife, or steal a knife, or find a blunt object. Now, find and kill a drug dealer and steal all his stuff (dope, money, house keys, contact book), go to his house and steal / sell everything you can and make money, then sell drugs and make more money! When local gangs get pissed at you for stealing their custom, kill them or recruit them!

Start your own gang, bribe the police, start your own drug rings and put girls on street corners, kill or recruit every other gang who gets in your way, working your way up the foodchain until you become Mr Big in the city, after that work your way to through the county / state, bribe politicians and set up a puppet President, buy nations in South America!

It´s like GTA in some parts

I would also like to have a game like gta, but not just one city - the whole planet! And a realistic like graphic engine with real looking characters. Imagine running around your city and steal some cars or shoot people! :thefinger

i want to see an online RTS game like command & conquer or empire earth; but instead of 4 players all fighting each other (free-for-all or 2v2) i would like to make a team with two players where one of us would manage the economy, building structures, making tanks, and so on; and the other one would concentrate on the actual fighting.

Great idea! If I may:

It would be set up like GTA but in a first person view (you could change to an over shoulder view like in gears if you prefer) Could also pick different views while driving.

Speaking of gears it would have the blood and gore of gears with the pure violence of manhunt.

The vehicles would be modeled after and named just like their real life counterparts. With a killer graphics engine so everything looks real including but not limited to the people!

Any weapon that exists in the real world would be available under the same name somewhere in the game world. I'd like to see it as a MMO type game. Where the people you see in the game are other people sitting at home on their consoles or PCs.

Basically it would play out exactly like a real life mobster lifestyle! With graphics and sound to make you swear your watching a movie! Also since it would be real people you run into, it would be completely unpredictable!

OH and all this complete with an AO rating! Not for sexual content...on second thought why not throw a heavy amount of that in just for kicks? Not x rated sex obviously, but more like the b-movie type stuff. But mostly for the shear violence of the game! Fuck what everyone says about games with that rating. It would help to keep it out of the hands of kids who don't need to be playing it!

I was watching the Dawn of the Dead remake a few nights ago and I thought for a mini-game, the scene were the sniper picks off zombies who look like celebrities from a crowd of zombies. Looks like fun.

FYI they're making a SAW video game and a fifth SAW is coming.
I've always wanted to make games based off of Chainsaw Massacre, Hostel, and game remakes. Originally I'd like to make a game tha'ts a mix of Manhunt and Hostel stuff. It starts where a detective is sent to find the where abouts of two fellow detectives that never returned to the station after investigating missing persons cases. The Detective notices a creepy guy walking through a door. The detective fallows and what happens next is a roller coaster of torture blood and mass murder. You sneak through a huge building complete with a torture, BDSM, brothel, and HQ floor. Each area is heavily guarded by hired guards and voluntering regulars. Sneak through and find the location of the missing detectives and who's responsible.

A new idea from me for a Metal Gear Solid Game:
At the beginning of the game you have to create a charakter and give him some special abilities (strenght, knowledge etc.). Then you start some missions ordered by the government or even an unknown orginisation.
Depending on wether you finished those missions good or bad (killed people or rescued them) you are being recruited by Foxhound, Dead Cell or someone else. But the game now really begins. You are planning and participating in more missions, you can be promoted to be leader etc.
Then with your special abilities you´ve earned throughout the game you finally get your own special codename and become a legend

right now I'm working on a puzzle game.
It's a "only versus" puzzle game ... you play vs a player or the Computer..

I have an idea:

The game takes place on three islands somewhere in the pacific. You can climb, shoot, talk to people and solve missions. lots of weapons. Big islands, everyone with it's special unique flavor.

Kaltrack- Island, where humans live and the main characters place to live. island is filled with ancient temples and lots of cliffs to climb. Kaltrack is the capital city. in there you can buy lots of stuff such as clothes and weapons etc. lots of smaller cities as well

Ozioanak- Soldier island. totally hostile, filled with army bases. impossible to go in with an water plane. Soldiers on the east part shoot on sight, cause they don't like visitors. Good place to smuggle or steal new weapons.

Buzzhawk- an unknown island, what was developed by an scientist, who wanted to find cure for cancer, but instead, he made it. and most of the people on the island died. the outside beach is beautiful, but if you get in the forest, you find an research facility, what is abandon and dark. It's filled with many secret to solve the storyline.

Story: You will play John Burke, a young man, who travels to the island to find his stepfather tim kensington, who is "dead". At start the plot seems kind of clear, but the further you progress, the more fuzzy it goes. Tim is responsible for the deaths of many. the coolest element would be memorizing. It means, that at first John climbs any cliff with safety gear, but after he doesn't have to. Also you can learn how to dismember enemies gun in close combat.

A game were you play as a native, african, and a jew and you stop your enemies before they destroy your kind. For example on one level you play as an african and you try to fight off the slave catchers. Each time that you get captured, sends you closer to america and makes it harder to escape to home. With the natives, you're already home so you just have to fight off the cowboys. RacialPayback!?

A level would be set in New York and you and your team go around killing his little demons while each boss would be the devils right hand men who are some of the big shots in hell. A game where things happen, and you need to do something about it, and there is a big twist in the middle of it that affects your goal in the game (Presumably concerning your heritage).

No, seriously, how about a full blown WWI/II or III game? Not like Call of Duty where you have a path to go to, but huge levels where there is no objective like blow up their super secret tank that will turn the tides of war if they can use it. Depending on the level, it could be things as simple as live through the night or warn the allies against an incoming attack.

And you can play as any country, not just the Americans and Soviets. If I want to play as Belgium, well goddamn, I'm going to play as Belgium (Though, obviously, in a WWI/II game each country can only participate in the battles they were in. It should also be realistic in the way it does that, too. Like, there would only be a couple hundred Newfoundlanders in a battle when there could be several thousand Brits)

i never played GTA from the rooftop view. i started when 3 came out.
how did you play that game like that? and is there any way i can play it online to see what it was like?
