Gas or coal ???

finally a poll that matters two things about men we know . we love naked ladies and food . but how do you like grilling your food on a gas grill or using coal?

i use a gas grill all my life until last year i used coal for the 1st time and the food has a better taste to me what about you all

I don't really notice a taste difference to be honest. You can obviously do different things with charcoal (use wood chips, smoker effect) but the convenience of propane is too great for me to go back to charcoal. Plus propane is cheaper over the long haul..what's a bag of briquettes cost now---$7/bag?

It all depends on WHAT I'm grilling. I prefer using charcoal for things like burgers, hot dogs or chicken, but I prefer using wood or gas grills for things like pork, fish or vegetables.

What ever happened to the "clean coal" scheme ? :updown:
Oh sure, you can invest millions upon millions of dollars to remove some of the Sº2, but you're still left with the uranium and thorium that gets exhausted into our upper atmosphere.

China is reported to be opening a new coal fire powerplant each week ! So much for a healthy future life unless you include a steady regiment of Vitamin E, Ascorbic acid (Pharma grade vit C) and selenium into your diet, and even then !!!!

Natural gas is more abundant in N.America than anything. Although it emits Cº2 post combustion, it's the best thing going at this particular time and the govt is actually converting many of their vehicles over to nat gas.
